Basically I have to do this through my phone because I cannot install the wireless driver on my computer for some reason I keep getting an error I cannot roll back my computer because my restore points disappeared and my computer is acting a bit weird I did the sfc scan now and it said everything was fine in my ethernet port is damaged so I can't connect to the internet that way I can only transfer things from my phone to my computer

Error Update.cpp 829 has occurred and setup cannot continue.

When trying to install the broadcom wireless adapter that comes from the download page of the Asus g75vx download page

And under the device manager network controller and Qualcomm atheros ethernet controller have a yellow caution triangle thingy I don't know how to fix this I've tried everything I cannot find anything about this error.

My windows version is Windows 10 home 64-bit 8 gigs of RAM Intel Core i7 2.40 GHz

You did not mention which version of Windows 10 you are using

Windows 10 v1903 breaks compatibility with several older wi-fi drivers

This requires that you use the Windows 10 drivers instead of the manufacturers driver

Are you running 1903 ?

Sorry it's version 1803 build 17134.677
In any way you could post a link to the driver I looked but I'm not confident I found the right one

FYI, 1803 end of support is this November so I would look at upgrading to 1809 at the least. The upgrade would most likely fix your problem.

Right click each device with the yellow exclamation mark. Select Properties and under the Details tab select Hardware IDs in the dropdown box. Copy and Paste the first line of each device in your next post.

All since I can only access the internet through my phone right now I have to type it out I don't know how to do the other slash on a phone someone to do the backslash

PCI/VEN_14E4&Dev_43b1&SUBSYS_21231A3b&REV_03 that's for the network controller

In for the ethernet controller which I cannot use ethernet anyways

PCI/VEN_1969&DEV_1083&SUBSYS_200F104&REV_C0

And there's something listed as unknown device the first unknown is

BTH/MS_BTHLE

The second unknown is
BTH/MS_BTHBRB

And I can't upgrade cuz I can't afford it I am disabled and unable to work

The upgrade from 1803 to 1809 is free.

The Wifi specs out asBCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter

https://devicehunt.com/search/type/pci/vendor/14E4/device/43B1

BTH/MS_BTHLE  would be Bluetooth which is part of your Wifi Adapter. On the ASUS website there is no support for Windows 10. I will have to do some research first.

I cannot find a Windows 10 driver for your Vendor, Device ID, and Subsys. I will keep looking but you may want to consider purchasing a cheap USB nano adapter form Ebay. I have used them with excellent results.

This is just an example. You may be able to find one locally.

The closest I could come to a ASUS driver that may work is here. The download is rather large so you will need to download it from another computer and transfer via a USB flash drive. I would at least create a restore point before installing the driver.

Less I can download the update to my phone I can't do that because I can't connect to the internet on my computer because the Wi-Fi driver won't install and this is the first time it's ever done this I've never had this issue and stalling this driver before

Yeah, I forgot about that. If I can find your Ethernet driver would it be possible for you to connect via Ethernet to your modem? See my previous post on the Wifi driver and dongle option.

I listed above my ethernet port is broken on my laptop so the only way I can connect is Wi-Fi I tried using my phone to tether but because of the network issues I can't

I would download the driver I linked to in post #7 and if that does not work I would purchase a cheap USB Wifi dongle that is compatible with Windows 10.

Have you tried using only the Windows 10 driver ?

If you click the "Internet Access" Icon in the right hand side of taskbar, do you see your network listed ?

I can't say this will work because I have not found anything compatible. This is the closest. Download the Wifi Driver for Windows 64bit here. Unzip and you will have two folders in the BCM_WLAN folder. You want to put the bcm_driveronly folder on your desktop. Right click the adapter in Device Manager > Properties > Update driver. Browse to the bcm_driveronly folder.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z87X-UD5-TH-rev-1x#support-dl-driver-wlanbt

http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Driver/mb_driver_wlan_wb867d_w10.zip

If it works then we can try the same for the bluetooth driver.

I think because broadcom is not on the list under network adapters it won't let me add it the only thing that comes close is add Legacy Hardware and my Bluetooth is not really an issue cuz I have other Bluetooth installed already I think the unknown devices are just an error Maybe re-downloading the network controller will work? I just have no clue how to get to download to put on my computer
